How can you join Feedbackity?
Our feedback providers are the lifeblood of Feedbackity, as it’s their feedback that helps the filmmakers who use our service to fine tune their projects ready for release. Currently, our diverse community of feedback providers is made up of over 3,100 passionate film lovers eager to offer their knowledgeable, detailed and honest analysis on independent films.
Anybody is able to become a feedback provider for Feedbackity, the only requirement is that they share our passion for film and know how to write good feedback. For those looking for constructive feedback on a project, a guarantee of quality goes a long way, and our guarantee comes from the fact that each of our feedback providers is paid for their analysis.
Every one of our feedback providers goes through a verification process to ensure that the quality of their feedback is up to the high standards that we require. This involves them returning one unpaid feedback on a submission, which is then vetted by our team. If the first-time feedback is up to scratch, they become officially verified and are able to earn money by returning feedback on future submissions!
For the feedback providers, the Feedbackity process is extremely simple and entirely online from beginning to end.
Once a filmmaker has submitted their film, the feedback provider’s process begins with a feedback request from us via email. This email contains the submitted film’s title, synopsis, length and genre. Following these key details, we provide information on the number of questions required to answer, the level of payment available, and the deadline for returning feedback – which is always well within the five day period of returning feedback that we are so proud to offer.
Every submission is optional for a feedback provider, so if one of those initially selected is unable to accept, the feedbacking slot is easily filled by another of our large community of providers.
After accepting a feedback request, the feedback provider will then log in to their account and access the page where the requested film is available to watch. During the viewing, there is a moving watermark displaying the name, email and IP address of the feedback provider, which maximises the security for the filmmaker submitting their project.
Following the viewing of the submitted film, the feedback providers write up their detailed feedback answering all of the questions asked by the filmmaker, and then return it via a form on our website only accessible with a feedback provider’s login. We then put all of the feedback together and return it to the filmmaker’s email inbox just five days after the initial submission. One of our longest-serving feedback providers Malu (22, Film student) said about the process for our providers that “It’s really fun offering feedback on independent films, and it’s so easy to do it. I can do it at home really easily and everything I need is provided through the Feedbackity website!” To wind up, the process from a feedback provider’s point of view can be summarised in five easy points:
